AIM-SMEs: Accelerating AI-Based Innovations in SMEs
AIM-SMEs promotes the sustainable creation of innovation based on artificial intelligence (AI) in small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) through tailor-made technology transfer. Within three years, a total of 18 regional SMEs will receive intensive support from the lab' in all phases of AI projects.
The focus is on individual processes and products that are revolutionised in terms of efficiency, quality, productivity and sustainability through the use of machine learning to achieve added value for the company, the region and Europe.
The methods and technologies are specifically tailored to the needs of the companies in line with latest scientific and technical developments. The resulting innovations serve as guidlines for subsequent innovations within the company and act as supra-regional, inspiring lighthouse projects.
AIM-SMEs fördert durch maßgeschneiderten Technologietransfer die nachhaltige Schaffung von Innovation auf Basis Künstlicher Intelligenz (KI) in kleinen und mittelständischen Unternehmen (KMU). Insgesamt 18 regionale KMU werden über einen Zeitraum von je 9 Monaten von dem Team des Labors für Digitalisierung intensiv in allen Phasen von KI-Projekten unterstützt.
Thematisch stehen individuelle Prozesse und Produkte im Fokus, die durch den Einsatz von maschinellem Lernen hinsichtlich ihrer Effizienz, Qualität, Produktivität und Nachhaltigkeit revolutioniert werden, um einen Mehrwert für das Unternehmen, die Region und Europa zu erzielen.
Die eingesetzten Verfahren und Technologien werden nach neuestem Stand der Wissenschaft und Technik spezifisch auf die Bedarfe der Unternehmen abgestimmt. Dadurch dienen die hervorgehenden Innovationen als Leitfaden für folgende Innovationen im Unternehmen und wirken darüber hinaus als überregional inspirierende Leuchtturmprojekte.
